	13 Aug 2008 Susan, New Zealand: There's not exactly fine dining in Harper's Ferry, but we found a nice little sandwich shop up the main road out of town, past the police station.

	06 Jul 2008 Jesse, USA: A short walk into Harper's Ferry (1.8 miles) along the Tow Path on the banks of the Potomac leads to great hand-dipped ice cream. I didn't buy any entrees there, however.

	06 Jul 2008 Jesse, USA: The restored area of Harper's Ferry--it is restored to 19th century originality, with costumed store clerks, soldiers, etc. Also, River and Trail outfitters rents nice Kayaks and does rafting trips (less than a mile from Hostel.)

HI Hostel HI - Harpers Ferry (Knoxville MD) Just two miles from Harpers Ferry National Historic Park, this cozy lodge stands high on a bluff, overlooking the confluence of the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers.
