The Hostel by Skógar is situated in the old children's school, close to Skógafoss, one of the best known waterfalls in Iceland. The hostel is a great stop over for those who are hiking over Fimmvörðuháls, which is one of the most popular routes in the country. Directions
Bus:
During the summer time there is a bus going from Reykjavík to Skógar twice per day. From Höfn to Skógar there is a bus going daily.
In the winter time the bus is going three times per week.
