Located in the very south of Mexico, it is a beautiful city full of history and tradition, where you will have the chance to visit The Portales, the Museum of the Altos of Chiapas, the Cultural Center, and the Museum Na Bolom, that keeps a small piece from the almost disappeared forest lacandona, and the rich and colorful crafts of the looms use for the natives costumes. You can´t miss the Market of San Cristóbal, where the natives of the zone, arrive at early hour to sell its products. We recommended to visit , the towns of San Juan Chamula and Zinacantán, Tuxtla Gutiérrez the State Capital, the impressive Sumidero Canyon, the Lagoons of Montebello, the Blue Water Cascades and finally the archaeological zone of Palenque, worthy sample of the splendor of the Mayan culture.
